　　Drug resistance remains a limiting factor for the efficacy of cancer chemotherapy.DNA repair mechanisms maintain genome integrity in normal cells, but may also enable cancer cells in circumventing the DNA damages induced by chemotherapeutic agents and thereby contribute to anticancer drug resistance.How different DNA repair pathways contribute to cancer cell resistance to DNA-reactive anticancer agents remains largely unknown.
