We present a strategy for synthesizing TiO2 nanosheets on FTO glass substrate through layer-by-layer absorption and reaction (LBL-AR) method using oriented porous ZnO nanosheets as a template, followed by wet-chemical etching and depositing process.The effect of immersing cycles on the morphology, optical property and performance of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) has been demonstrated.An efficiency of 4.94% (under AMI.5 irradiation, 100 mW cm-2) is obtained from the immersing 30 cycles, with a short-circuit current density (JSC) =8.02mA cm-2, open-circuit voltage (Voc) =0.870 V and fill factor (FF) =70.82%.
