A new method of wastewater treatment of pollutants in beer brewery is given.With adsorption of the IAC-2 adsorptive technology (chitosan and expedient microbes technique),it is effective to remove phosphorus,proteins and carbonhydrates.The optimum pH is 6.5-7.5,cycle duration of 1 h.The average COD and phosphorus of the effluent are 91 and 0.5 mg/L,respectively, the high and stable removal efficiency could reach more than 92％ COD and 95％ phosphorus.The experimental results show that the quality of the beer brewery treated wastewater can attain to the national requirements of the first grade of integrated wastewater discharge standard (GB 8978 - 1996).The treating cost is RMB 0.60 yuan/m3,the treating system is convenient managed and reliable operated.
