because of its unique structural features, particular artistic and practical value, sturgeon skin was rarely explored and produced by clean tanning process.After soaking, liming, degreasing, demineralization, picking, aluminum tanning, tannin re-tanning and other processes, sturgeon skin leather was got.Experimental results showed that the sturgeon leather we got was hard, and the inside of leather was close to rawhide.Possible reasons of this phenomenon were researched in this study.At the same time, corresponding solutions and new method of sturgeon skin leather experiment was put forward..
