“Syndrome differentiation and treatment” is considered as a unique pattern of Individual Diagnosis and Testament of TCM. Efficacy of Chinese Traditional medicine depends on the high level of syndrome differentiation. This article regarded the main way of development and implementation of individualized treatment of type 2 diabetes as following: From the point of the relation among “disease”, “symptoms” and “syndrome”, combination of disease and syndrome is a foundation.
