An attempt had been made to improve the adhesion of starch to polyester fibers for warp sizing.The improvement was achieved through blending newly developed water-soluble aliphatic-aromatic copolyester (WSACP) into starch because the copolyester had been proved to possess better biodegradability than aromatic water-soluble polyester (WSP).
