Purpose:To explore quality of life and end-of-life treatment preferences among frail older adults in Shanghai and Hong Kong.Methods:In a cross-sectional descriptive study,265 older adults in Shanghai and 313 older adults in Hong Kong were interviewed.Data was elicited by a structured questionnaire comprising the modified Quality-of-life Concerns in the End of Life Questionnaire (modified QOLC-E) and questions relating to their views on life-sustaining treatment and healthcare decision making process.
