We describe a versatile and convenient approach,employing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as a oxidation reagent, for the synthesis of fluorescent polydopamine nanoparticles (FPDANs).Firstly, we utilized dopamine hydrochloride through self-polymerize under alkaline conditions to generate polydopamine sphere particles, then adding the hydrogen peroxide to oxidized/digested the polydopamine sphere particles could be obtained the fluorescent polydopamine nanoparticles.
