Plants require several mineral elements including macronutrients and micronutrients for adequate nutrition, and they are generally acquired by roots from the soil.Plant growth and yield are limited by low availability of any one of these minerals. The aim of this study was to investigate the genetic variation in mineral content of a genetically broad material of Brassica napus.Thirty genotypes of B.napus (winter, spring and swede) were investigated under field conditions (OREGIN field trial 2010/2011 at Rothamsted Research in the UK).
