Discussion on the Logistics Discipline System and Research Orientation

　　Logistics discipline is an applied and new-emerging discipline integrated with nature science, social science and technology science.It is an interdiscipline with the essence of economics, management science, computer science, information science, engineering technology science and other disciplines.At present,the specialty related to logistics stipulated by education department mainly includes: logistics engineering and logistics management.Depending on the features of professional orientation, we approximately divide logistics discipline into engineering orientation and management orientation.Logistics engineering recruits science student, logistics management recruits arts student.Because of the comprehensive and interdisciplinary features, the definition of logistics engineering and logistics management is not very clear, we must make the structure of logistics discipline system clear, then to make good and right decision for the training of logistics talents and the development of logistics discipline.
