The luminescent materials of mullite have been prepared by the high temperature solid-state method.The phase relations were studied by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the luminescence spectra depends on the fluorescence spectrophotometer techniques.The results reveal that the samples are composed of orthorhombic mullite and hexagonal EuAl12Oi9 phase.
