A generalized voter model with memory mechanism is introduced where the memory effect is characterized by $r$ memory elements and merged to the update rule of the generalized voter model.The system on square lattice with Monte Carlo simulation exhibits an order-disorder phase transition at noise parameter space.For several values of $r$, we plot the phase diagram and calculate the related quantities.The similar works are provided by analytic approach on the fully connected lattice.
