VOBO3 is synthesized by solid state coordination method using V2O5、H3BO3 as the starting materials.The sample calcined at 600 °C demonstrated good electrochemical properties.The initial discharge capacitiy and discharge capacitiy of the sample calcined at 600 °C in the second cycle is 103 and 95 mAh/g at the current density of 5 mA/g,respectively.The discharge capacity after 12 cycles is 73 mAh/g.These results show that VOBO3 may be an attractive cathode for lithium-ion batteries.
