Our previous studies have shown the clinical efficacy of Peony-Glycyrrhiza Decoction (PGD),an herbal preparation in treating antipsychotic-induced hyperprolactinemia and the mechanisms underlying the psychopharmacological actions.In the present study, we further determined whether there exist pharmacokinetic interactions between PGD and clozapine (CLZ) in rats, human liver microsomes and supersomes.
