The intergranular corrosion (IGC) behavior of 0.07Zn addicted Al-2.71Cu-1.56Li alloy and Zn-freed Al-2.78Cu-1.64Li alloy with two aging treatment systems were examined electrochemically.The influences of Zn addition on mechanical property and corrosion behavior of Al-Cu-Li alloys were also studied by intergranular corrosion test and tensile test.
