Objective Peritoneal metastasis is the first/sole site of tumor recurrence after curative surgery in 12-40%of gastric cancer(GC)patients and shows poor response to systemic chemotherapy and this had prompted for the advent of more comprehensive multimodal approaches including regional therapies such hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy(HIPEC).
