Copper Indium Gallium (Di)Selenide (CIGS) technology is considered the technology with the greatest potential for efficiency increases.The proof of this is the ZSW s (Zentrum f ü r Sonnenenergie-und Wasserstoff-Forschung Baden-W ü rttemberg) world record cell with an efficiency of 20.8% on rigid substrates, and Manz record panel with an aperture efficiency of 15.9%.Manz is the only partner of ZSW to realize and turn the advanced CIGS technology in the laboratory into commercialization.Manz not only owns the unique technology of linear co-evaporator but also acquires exclusively ZSW s Intellectual Property right (IP).
