　　The PCNA gene itself have effect on the the DNA durative repilication in the eukaryotic organism.Since the function and characterizsation of the PCNA gene was well reported and explained in the eukaryotic organism.Meanwhile, Some virus that have the specific open reading frame which encoding the PCNA-like product have the similar function as the eukaryotic organism were also reported in the former investigation.However, There is little research on the PCNA gene in the iridovirus family in the current study, Here we firstly revealed the general characteristics of the PCNA gene that was encoded by the ORF68 from the Singapore grouper iridovirus(SGIV).
