OBJECTIVE: To investigate the manifestation of stroke and the features of cerebrovascular atherosclerotic stenosis in 197 type 2 DM patients.METHODS: A retrospective study was performed on clinical and lifestyle data of 197 type 2 DM patients enrolled in the Nanjing Stroke Registry Program (NSRP).Digital subtraction angiography with a digital fluoroscopic imaging system was performed in 197 type 2 DM patients and cerebrovascular atherosclerosis stenosis type, distribution, extent and obstructive nature were retrospectively analyzed and classified by segment location.
