This study aims to investigate the local mechanical properties of polyimide near the graphite reinforcement in the graphite/polyimide nanocomposites.The configuration of the nanocomposites was constructed based on the molecular dynamic (MD) simulation in which the energy minimization was attained.Subsequently, the configuration, density and order parameter of the polyimide chains associated with the distance measured from the graphite/polyimide interface were evaluated accordingly.
