The study of cantilever beams subjected to base excitation and subjected to nonlinear boundary conditions has been done since the 1980s.The non linear boundary condition is described as an amplitude constraint at the free end of the cantilever beam.So far the theory has been developed for such boundary conditions only at the free end.Further there has been no theory to model more than one such nonlinear boundary condition along the beam length.
