Special attention has been given to the selective separation and recovery of heat-generating nuclide (Cs), platinum group metals (PGMs: Pd, Ru and Rh) and oxoanions (Mo, Re and Tc, etc) from high-level liquid wastes (HLLWs) in relation to the partitioning of radioactive nuclides and their effective utilization.
