1H NMR spectroscopy was usel to investigate the metabolic differences in wines produced from grape varieties and growing countries.A significant classification of wines from grapes of Campbell,Cabemet Sauvignon,and Shiraz was observed by partial least squares-discriminant analysis (PLS-DA).The metabolites contributing the classification were assigned to 2,3-butanediol,lactate,proline,succinate,malate,glycerol,tartarate,glucose,and phenolic compounds by PLS-DA loading plots.Wines produced from Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia,France,and California of America could be also discriminated.
