Many studies have recently shown that low and safe dose of CO has been linked to display various physiological effects,such as anti-inflammatory,anti-apoptotic,anti-proliferative and vasodilation [1].However,it is also best known that CO is a highly toxic gas because of its high affinity toward hemoglobin to affect the oxygen transport,which restricts its practicability as inhaled gas for therapeutic application.
