Fault localization techniques are promising in reducing debugging efforts.To effectively locate faults,many fault localization techniques require a large number of test cases whose execution results are available.However,in the process of software development,developers may not have enough test cases to apply fault localization techniques.With the test case generation techniques,a large number of test cases can be generated.However,the execution results of generated test cases need to be inspected by developers,which may bring heavy labor.To address this problem,we propose a method to select a few test cases from a large number of test cases for result inspection.Our experimental results shows that our approach can reduce the number of test cases that need to be inspected and the effectiveness of fault localization techniques is close to that when using the whole test suites.
