In the paper,a model of counter-current reactor of biomass gasification had been built,high temperature steam was used as oxidant and heat source,gasification process was assumed steady state,and temperature is driving power of the gasification process.The gasification process was studied in the reactor by numerical simulation method.The some results was obtained,under this condition,the gasification of char was produced In the bottom of the reactor where the temperature is high,and volatilization of tar was produced in central area of the reactor,the water was evaporated in the upper area of reactor.If the distribution of temperature was reasonable,the heat energy conversion of high temperature steam can reach 80% or higher 80%.
