In order to investigate the dynamic relationship between Chinese currency in circulation and inflation, this paper attempts to introduce nonparametric local linear estimation theory and makes a comparative study on the relationship between Chinese currency in circulation and inflation by establishing nonparametric regression model and classical regression model, from the comparation we found that classical regression model could not capture the dynamic relationship between Chinese currency in circulation and inflation ideally.
