Observation of Interatomic Coulombic Decay in High Energy Electron-Ar Dimer Collision

　　The kinetic energy distributions(KER)of the fragment ions of doubly and qurdruply ionized argon dimers by 3000 eV electron impact are measured.For the dissociation of(Ar2)2+,the peak evidencing radiative charge transfer is observed.For the dissociation of(Ar2)4+,clear signatures of interatomic Coulombic decay and electron transfer mediated decay are observed in electron impact experiment for the first time.
