In this study, biological membrane such as inner layer of the egg of Gall domesticus (hen) was used as controlling barriers for permeation of some drug like molecule hydroxamic acids with different molecular weight and lipophilicities. The apparent permeability coefficients (Papp) were in range 8.8 to 26.7x10-3(cm/hr).The octanol-buffer (PBS buffer pH7.4) distribution coefficient (logD) of hydroxamic acids was determined by shake flask method. The quantitative structure-permeation relationships analysis is performed using molecular structure and apparent permeability coefficient. The cross validation Q2cum value for the optimal QSAR model of hydroxamic acids is above 0.830 (remarkably higher than 0.500) indicating predictive ability for the logPapp values of hydroxamic acids.
