  In this paper,we proposed a method of detecting rotor icing thickness using Lamb wave.This method is based on the influence of different thickness on dispersion curves and displacement amplitudes.Firstly,through the influence of different ice thickness on dispersion curve of AO Lamb wave mode,the thickness of a thicker ice layer can be determined.Secondly,a comparative of the longitudinal displacement amplitudes of A0 mode of both top and bottom ice layers can determine the displacement distribution of the ice layers.Finally the analysis of SO mode can determine the thickness of a thinner layer.
