  A miniature steam ejector embedded with a capillary pump loop can result in a compact design which can be used for electronics cooling.In this paper, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is employed to investigate the effects of the area ratio of nozzle throat to nozzle exit,the area ratio of nozzle throat to ejector constant area section, the nozzle exit position (NXP),and the length of constant area section on the coefficient of performance in a miniature steam ejector embedded with a capillary pump loop.Results show that there exists an optimum length range of the constant area section and an optimum area ratio of nozzle throat to nozzle exit for the investigated miniature ejector refrigeration system.
