The Mongolia-Gujur uranium deposit is located in the southern margin of the Ili Basin in Xinjiang. The ore deposit is the highest grade of uranium ore in the known sandstone-type uranium deposit in the north of China with a large depth of burial (more than 500 m in some areas) with the most developed interlayer oxidation zone Area.
