Poly (silyl ether) s,which contain Si-O-C bonds in their main chains,have been synthesized in several strategies.Among these,the most efficient way is either the cross-dehydro coupling of α,ω-diols with dihydrosilanes1or the hydrosilylation of α,ω-dicarbonyl compounds (aldehydes and ketons) with dihydrosilane.
