  Sperm flagella have been observed to propagate different waves of bending,depending on the fluid environment.In this talk,we will discuss modeling aspects of the relevant fluid environment and chemical concentrations,relating emergent waveforms and interactions to current experiments.The sperm flagellum is represented as a Kirchhoff rod and a regularized Stokes formulation will be used to solve for the local fluid flow.
