The use of additives in an oxide system can alter the morphologic properties during crystallization changing nanoparticles growth behavior.Some recent works have shown that there is a relation between particle growth kinetics and the formation of a surface additives excess,so called surface segregation.Since the aim of this work is to evaluate the relation between additives and morphologic properties,powders of SnO2 doped with different concentrations of Zn2+ were synthesized by Pechinis method and characterized by XRD and FTIR.
