Mechanical and Dielectric Properties of Doped Silica Ceramics as the Promising Radome Materials

　　The phase transformation and the sintering process of quartz crystal were investigated.It is found that dielectric constant of quartz ceramics increased with sintering temperature increased.The minimum dielectric loss of quartz crystal is 4.1×10-3 at 1175℃,but the maximum bending strength is just 15.5 MPa.
