To explore the differentiation between authentic native speaker language and Chinese English learners interlanguage,this study,this paper,adopting the corpus-based approach with the Sketch Engine Tool,made a detailed comparison and analysis of the colligational patterns,collocational behavior and semantic prosody of three near synonymous nouns (effect,influence and impact) and two near synonymous verbs (affect and influence) in one native English speakerscorpus:the British National Corpus (BNC) and two Chinese learnerscorpus: the Chinese Learner English Corpus (CLEC) and the Written English Corpus of Chinese Learners (WECCL1.0).
