In this study,Gd-doped of Ce3+:YAG single crystal grown by the Czochralski technique are reported.In comparison with the YAG:Ce3+,through absorption,excitation,emission spectra,fluorescence lifetimes and colorimetric analysis,the singly doped exhibits smaller different optical performances and is discussed in detail.
