Objective To investigate the meaning of serum homocysteine (Hcy) and high sensitive C reactive protein (hs CRP) association with coronary heart disease. Methods Serum Hcy and hs CRP levels of 111 csaes of coronary heart disease and 77 csaes of healthy volunteers were measured and analyzed about the relationship between Hcy,hs □ CRP and coronary heart disease.Determination of serum Hcy by enzymatic cycling assay and determination of serum hs CRP by immunoturbidimetric assay.111 patients with coronary heart disease were divided into stable angina pectoris (SAP group),unstable angina pectoris (UAP group) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI group) according to their conditions, the differences of Hcy and hs CRP levels of each group were analyzed. Results Serum hcy level and serum hsCRP levels of CHD group was significantly higher than healthy control group[(21±9) μmol/L vs (9±6) μmol/L, (15.1±1.4) mg/L vs (1.0±0.9) mg/L] (P<0.05).Comparison between CHD groups:serum Hcy levels and serum hs CRP levels of AMI group was significantly higher than SAP group and UAP group[(24±8)μmol/L vs (16±5) μmol/L, (19±6)μmol/L, (23.7±5.9)mg/L vs (4.0±3.0)mg/L, (15.4±3.2)mg/L](P<0.05).Serum Hcy levels and serum hs CRP levels of UAP group was significantly higher than SAP group[(19±6) μmol/L vs (16±5) μmol/L, (15.4±3.2) mg/Lvs (4.0±3.0) mg/L] (P<0.05).Conclusion Serum Hcy and hs□ CRP levels are consistent withcoronary heart disease, the condition of coronary heart disease can be judged by serum Hcy and hs □ CRP levels, and it is good to the guiding of treatment.
