Flowering is an important transition from vegetative growth to reproductive growth of higher plants.Here we present genome-wide analysis of flowering-time genes in B.oleracea,B.rapa and A.thaliana and through the employment of HMM search and manual curation to identify 385 and 383 flowering-time genes in B.oleracea and B.rapa genomes respectively.The flowering-time genes were 1.95 and 2.01 fold of Arabidopsis thaliana in B.rapa and B.oleracea respectively.
