　　objectives: Known as the major inhibitory neurotransmitter of GABA receptors in the brain, GABA is synthesized primarily from glutamate and metabolized to succinic semialdehyde by GABA-T in GABA pathway.However, the distribution and quantitative information of GABAA receptors in Cararrius auratus gibelio (Crucian carp) is rather limited, as well as GADs and GABA-T.
