The paper examined mine subsidence monitoring which issue from a further perspective.Different from previous researches,this paper intended to emphasize the importance of curve model in the study of the gray system and the L curve.Firstly it introduced briefly two curve models for fitting mine subsidence.Then it provided one study case to verify the model accuracy.Because different models are to obtain different results,the proposed approaches have better performance than previous models for monitoring mine subsidence,which are significant to make decision for exploiting coal mines.
