Mushrooms have attracted great attention as a functional food and as a source of bioactive metabolites for the development of drugs and nutraceuticals.To add more value of edible and medicinal mushrooms, we tried to culture the edible and medicinal mushrooms by solid-stated fermentation technique.The solid cultures of edible mushrooms were extracted with ethyl acetate, and the organic solvent extracts were screened for various bioactivities, including antibacterial activity, anti-cancer and antioxidant activity.
