In this paper,we investigate the finite-time consensus of a kind of second order multi-agents systems in the scenarios with and without an active leader.A distributed algorithm for consensus of such kind of second-order multi-agent systems via sampled position information is proposed.It is shown that the multiagents systems can be achieved in a finite time.Subsequently,numerical examples illustrate and visualize the effectiveness and feasibility of the theoretical results.
