Cyanobacteria are capable of acclimating and growing under a wide range of ambient CO2 concentrations, which is conducted by the CO2 concentrating mechanism (CCM). Two LysR-type transcription regulators (LTTRs), CcmR and CmpR, and one AbrB family of transcriptional regulator CyAbrB are involved in the regulation of CCM.
