艺术市场指数的历史与现状所谓艺术市场指数,是指反映一定时期内艺术市场的整体价格水平或某件(类)艺术品的价格变动情况的统计指标。历史上最早的艺术市场指数,或许当数由苏富比拍卖公司编制的艺术市场综合指数(Art Market Index)。1985年9月,苏富比拍卖公司创办了《艺术市场公报》(Art Market Bulletin),并且定期在《艺术市场公报》上发布艺术市场综合指数,该综合指数的构成包括早期绘画、现代油画、欧洲瓷器、中国瓷器、古董家具等十个类别。以1975年为基数100进行计算(即1975=100)。
