Only few studies have addressed the prevalence of contact allergy in the general population.To properly assess the contact allergy prevalence,a valid diagnostic test is required.This oral presentation offers an overview of the personal experience from using the TRUE test in the largest general population study ever performed.It is concluded that the TRUE-test is a useful diagnostic tool that may be used elsewhere and that the prevalence of contact allergy should be monitered in the general population..
