We construct a new multi-component CKP hierarchy based on the eigenfunction sym metry constraint.It provides an effective way to find new two types of CKP equation with self-consistent sources (CKPSCS) and their Lax representations.Also it admits re ductions to constrained CKP hierarchy and to a (1+1)-dimensional soliton hierarchy with self-consistent source, which gives rise to new two types of Kaup-Kuperschmidt equation with self-consistent sources (KKSCS) and of bi-directional Kaup-Kuperschmidt equation with self-consistent sources.By using the solutions of the CKP equation and KK equation and their corresponding eigenfunctions, N-soliton solution for the CKPSCS and KKSCS are constructed by means of the method of variation of constant, respectively.
