As one of the four basic language skills in English teaching, writing is an indispensable and important part of English teaching.English discourse rhetoric structure provides framework for the generation and analysis of language, which has a positive instructive significance for the teaching of English writing.Based on this theory, this article provides suggestions for the teaching of English writing from the perspective of rhetorical structure of English discourse.
