　　To reveal the depositional characteristics and evolution history of a swamp during a period of peat accu mulation in terrestrial basins,sedimentary model and sequence stratigraphy of the Middle Jurassic aged #7 coal seam in Gaoquan in the Qaidam Basin(NW China)were investigated.
